Directions to the American Family Insurance Amphitheater

The American Family Insurance Amphitheater is located on the south end of the Henry Maier Festival Park on Lake Michigan in downtown Milwaukee. Remember to plan ahead and allow extra time for travel during events. Passenger dropoff and entrance gates are located at the end of East Summerfest Place and Harbor Drive.

Coming to Milwaukee from Chicago or Racine/Kenosha? This summer, jam without traffic by taking the train with Amtrak Hiawatha Service between Chicago and Milwaukee. Amtrak Hiawatha offers easy access to Henry Maier Festival Park from the downtown Milwaukee Intermodal Station. The streetcar provides an easy, fun and option for traveling from numerous downtown destinations. Whether arriving in Milwaukee at the Intermodal station or heading down from East Town or the Lower East side, ride The Hop to either Historic Third Ward platform. From there it’s just a 15-minute walk to the South Gate.

The City of Milwaukee’s bike share system. Currently the system has over 30 stations and conveniently serves the Summerfest grounds.
